Hammond ST363008SS 36x30x8 in Sloped Top Type 4X Stainless Enclosure

The ST363008SS is a 36 in high, 30 in wide, 8 in deep Eclipse ST sloped top enclosure, the tallest of the 8 in deep sizes in the series ordering table. It is built for control panel shops and electricians enclosing electrical or electronic equipment on a wall in harsh, industrial environments, with a sloped top that keeps water from resting on the enclosure.

It is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural stainless smooth brushed finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Quarter turn latches with a slot requiring a tool hold the door on 304 stainless hinges with stainless steel hinge pins.

H1 is 36.00 in and H2 is 38.89 in (988 mm). The drawing shows a door opening of 28.49 in wide by 34.47 in high, a 29.97 in wide door and a 70° slope. At 30 in wide it falls under the series note that sizes over 24 in (600 mm) wide require an inner panel to maintain UL/CSA; the EP3630 panel is 34.20 x 28.20 in and mounts on collar studs.

Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 28.50 x 34.50 in centres, with an included hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Bonding and grounding studs are provided on door and body.

The ST363008SS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 rated, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and ships boxed at 79 lbs (35.83 kg).
