The ST302408SS is a 30 in high, 24 in wide, 8 in deep Eclipse ST sloped top enclosure. Its tall, shallow proportions suit wall-hung control panels and electrical or electronic equipment in harsh, industrial environments, and the sloped top prevents water from resting on the enclosure while providing potential for controls mounting.
The enclosure is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel, with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural stainless smooth brushed finish on cover and body. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants; a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Quarter turn latches with a tool slot secure the door on 304 stainless hinges and stainless steel hinge pins, and the door can be removed for modifications.
H1 is 30.00 in and H2 is 32.89 in (835 mm). On the drawing, the door opening is 22.48 in wide by 28.47 in high, the door is 23.97 in wide and the slope is 70°. The optional EP3024 inner panel measures 28.20 x 22.20 in and mounts on the collar studs provided.
Mounting holes on the back are 0.50 in diameter on 22.50 x 28.50 in centres; a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the enclosure are fitted.
The ST302408SS carries UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 ratings, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and ships boxed at 58 lbs (26.31 kg).
