Hammond SKT011419NO Normally Open Thermostat, Fahrenheit Scale

The SKT011419NO is the normally open (NO) Fahrenheit thermostat in the SKT Series. It provides air temperature control and monitoring in cabinets and is intended for fans and cooling units, or for switching signal transmitters in case of overheating. Its contact closes when rising temperature reaches the set point, turning the fan on.

A thermostatic bi-metal element operates a snap-action contact across an adjustment range of 30 to 140°F (0 to 60°C). The switching difference (hysteresis) is + or - 4°F (+ or - 3 K), and the NO setting knob carries a blue imprint for quick identification. Switching capacity is 15A @ 120VAC, 10A @ 240VAC and 30W @ DC, with noise suppression class N according to VDE 0875.

The ordering table lists 2.8 x 1.5 x 1.4 (height x width x depth), and the short description gives 2.41 x 1.3 x 1.4 in. The flame retardant UL94V0 plastic housing is gray and rated IP20. Wiring uses a 2 pole terminal for AWG 14 (2.5 mm²), and the unit clips onto 35 or 38 mm DIN rail with the included clip.

Installation should be carried out by qualified staff, in the upper part of the switch cabinet as far as possible from heat-creating components, without covering the thermostat's ventilation slots. The SKT011419NO is UL Recognized Component, cUL Recognized Component and CE approved, RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships at 0.3 lb (0.14 kg).
