Hammond SDCSR6 6U Square Hole Rack Rails for SDC Cabinets

SDCSR6 is a 6U square hole rail set for Hammond SDC Series multi-mount wall-mount rack cabinets. It gives IT, telecom and low-voltage installers a square-hole (cage nut) mounting option for 19-inch equipment inside an SDC enclosure, so servers, switches, patch panels and shelves that ship with cage-nut hardware can be installed without adapting to tapped rails.

Each rail is formed from mild steel and finished in black smooth paint. The SDC Series uses 12-gauge rails within a 16-gauge steel cabinet (frame, cover and doors), with integrated rack unit markings to speed up positioning of equipment. The square hole pattern follows typical E.I.A. spacing, with .375 x .375 cutouts and 1.25 in (32 mm) 1U increments marked on the drawing.

Overall rail dimensions are 10.53 in x 1 in x 3.04 in (267 mm x 25 mm x 77 mm), with the 10.53 in (267 mm) length corresponding to 6U of mounting height.
