Hammond SDC243U36BK 3U Enclosed Wall-Mount Cabinet, 36 in Deep

The SDC243U36BK is a 3U enclosed wall-mount rack cabinet from the SDC Series Multi-Mount Wall-Mount Rack Cabinet line, built for securely housing 19-inch rack equipment in space-constrained environments. At 36.00 in (914 mm) deep it is the deepest option in the 3U group, making it suited to network switches, patch panels and deeper appliances that will not fit a shallow wall box. Typical users include IT and AV integrators, low-voltage contractors, telecom installers and facilities teams working in small closets, branch sites and edge locations.

Construction is 16-gauge steel for the frame, cover and doors, with 12-gauge rails. Static load ratings for the series are up to 150 lb wall or ceiling mounted and 800 lb freestanding. The mild steel cabinet is finished in RAL9005 black powder coat, a low-emitting, corrosion-resistant finish that is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant and suited to indoor environments. Rails use a square hole pattern with 10-32 cage nuts and include integrated rack unit markings.

Overall size is 7.47 in x 24 in x 36 in (190 mm x 610 mm x 914 mm), with usable mounting dimensions of 5.25 in (133 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 34.00 in (864 mm) deep. The drawing shows an 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting width and an adjustable mounting depth from 21.34 in to 34.51 in. Shipping weight is 52 lbs (23.59 kg).

Each SDC243U36BK ships as an enclosure with installed removeable cover, four mounting rails with hardware, two installed plastic handles, ten 10-32 screws and cage nuts, and installation instructions; assembly hardware is included while wall mounting hardware is not. An accessory panel supports 2.5", 2.0", 1-3/4", 1-3/8", 1-1/8" and 7/8" conduit knockouts, and fan kit knockouts allow active cooling. The cabinet is TAA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America.
