Hammond SDC246U24BK 6U Enclosed Wall-Mount Cabinet, 24.5in Deep

The SDC246U24BK is a 6U multi-mount wall-mount rack cabinet built to securely house 19-inch rack equipment where floor space is limited. It suits small network closets, retail and branch locations, telecom and low-voltage work, and edge or distributed network deployments that need equipment organized behind a lockable enclosure rather than on an open frame.

Construction is 16-gauge steel for the frame, cover and doors, with 12-gauge rails carrying integrated rack unit markings. Static load ratings are up to 150 lb wall or ceiling mounted and 800 lb freestanding. The mild steel cabinet is finished in RAL9005 black powder coat, a low-emitting, corrosion-resistant finish that is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant and intended for indoor environments.

Overall size is 12.72 in x 24 in x 24.5 in (323 mm x 610 mm x 622 mm), with usable mounting dimensions of 10.50 in high x 19.00 in wide x 22.50 in deep (267 mm x 483 mm x 572 mm). The four square-hole rails accept 10-32 cage nuts and adjust over a mounting depth range of 9.84 in minimum to 23.01 in maximum. Shipping weight is 40 lbs (18.14 kg).

An accessory panel provides 2.5", 2.0", 1-3/4", 1-3/8", 1-1/8" and 7/8" conduit knockouts for flexible cable entry, and fan knockouts allow optional fan kits for active cooling. SDC246U24BK ships as an enclosure with installed removable cover, four mounting rails with hardware, two installed plastic handles, ten 10-32 screws and cage nuts, and installation instructions; mounting hardware for the wall is not included. Optional 6U solid, vented, cable entry/fan and conduit/fan cover panels are available, and the cabinet is TAA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and made in North America.
