Hammond RH3145 140 x 82 mm Handheld ABS Enclosure, Light Gray

The RH3145 is a 140 x 82 x 25.5 mm (series table) hand-held enclosure in the RH Series, the largest of the 25.5 mm high sizes. The part page lists a nominal 5.51 x 3.15 x 0.98 in (140 x 80 x 25 mm). It is built for engineers housing a PCB in a slim, comfortable hand-held instrument, and this version has no battery door.

Light gray general purpose ABS with a light texture is used throughout, with a UL94 HB flammability rating. A lap joint gives some protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and the removable front panel makes it straightforward to add openings.

Both halves include molded P.C. board standoffs accepting M2.6 self-tapping screws. Each RH3145 includes the box, lid, 4 PCB screws, end panel and 4 lid screws; recommended torque is (43-50) Ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.

Spare cover screws are SC520-50 (M2.6 x 18 mm self-tapping), PCB screws SC519-50, and a CP-001G nylon belt clip kit is listed. The enclosure weighs 0.2 lbs (0.09 kg), is REACH and RoHS compliant, and is also offered with a battery door as RH3145A.
