RH3115A is the battery-door version of the smallest RH Series hand-held enclosure. With a series-table size of 100 x 62 x 25.5 mm (nominal 3.94 x 2.36 x 0.98 in), it is aimed at designers of compact battery-powered devices who want an ergonomic case with user-accessible battery access instead of opening the whole enclosure.
It is molded in light gray general purpose ABS with a light texture, rated UL94 HB. The lap joint between the halves provides some protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and the front panel can be removed for easy modification.
Molded standoffs in both halves accept M2.6 self-tapping screws and support a board up to 89.25 x 53.14 mm. Each assembly includes the box, lid, 4 PCB screws, end panel, battery door and 3 lid screws, to be tightened to (43-50) Ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.
Replacement lid screws are SC520-50 (M2.6 x 18 mm self-tapping, 50 pcs) and PCB screws are SC519-50; a CP-001G nylon belt clip kit is listed as an accessory. RH3115A is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships in a bag at 0.14 lbs (0.06 kg). The same size without a battery door is RH3115.
