Hammond RH3115 100 x 62 mm Handheld ABS Enclosure, Light Gray

The RH3115 is the smallest enclosure in the RH Series of ABS hand-held instrument cases. At 100 x 62 x 25.5 mm in the series table (nominal 3.94 x 2.36 x 0.98 in / 100 x 60 x 25 mm), it suits compact hand-held electronics such as small controllers, sensors and data loggers where the PCB needs a neat, ergonomic housing. This version has no battery door; RH3115A adds one.

The case is molded in light gray, lightly textured general purpose ABS with a UL94 HB flammability rating. Lap joint construction provides some protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and a removable front panel makes cut-outs for connectors, switches or displays easy to add.

Both halves have molded PCB standoffs that accept M2.6 self-tapping screws, and the maximum board size is 89.25 x 53.14 mm. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, 4 PCB screws, end panel and 3 lid screws; recommended torque is (43-50) Ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.

Replacement parts are listed on the drawing: SC520-50 cover screws (M2.6 x 18 mm self-tapping), SC519-50 PCB screws and the CP-001G nylon belt clip kit. RH3115 is REACH and RoHS compliant, ships bagged at 0.13 lbs (0.06 kg), and can be factory modified with milling, drilling or printing.
