Hammond RCKVD42UBK1 42U Vented Mesh Locking Cabinet Door

The RCKVD42UBK1 is a 42U vented replacement door built exclusively for the Hammond RCK cabinet series. It suits IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM builders who need a high-airflow front or rear door on a 42U enclosure while keeping equipment secured behind a keyed lock.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel finished in textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat, a coating that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The door face carries a perforated vented panel measuring 71.75 in (1822 mm) high by 16.00 in (406 mm) wide with 63% free open area, so cabinet fans and passive convection can move air through the front of the rack.

Overall size is 78.38 in x 23.6 in x 0.85 in (1,991 mm x 599 mm x 22 mm) and shipping weight is 30 lbs (13.61 kg). The RCKVD42UBK1 ships as a complete kit: the vented door, one FH333 swing handle key lock, two left-hand surface door hinges and two hinge cover plates, with door mounting hardware included and hinge components hardware shipped loose.

Screw-on hinges mount without needing access to the inside of the cabinet, and the door can be hung on the left or right to suit aisle layout. The handle cutout accepts electronic locks if you later standardise on credential-based access.
