Hammond RCKSD42UBK1 42U Solid Locking Door for RCK Cabinets

The RCKSD42UBK1 is a 42U solid front or rear door designed exclusively for use with the Hammond RCK cabinet series. It suits IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need to close off a 42U RCK enclosure with a secure, opaque panel that conceals equipment and restricts access to installed hardware.

The door is built from 16-gauge steel (mild steel) and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat, which complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. As a solid style door, it provides a fully enclosed face; vented mesh and acrylic window versions of the same 42U size are offered separately within the RCKD series.

Overall size is 78.38 in x 23.6 in x 0.85 in (1,991 mm x 599 mm x 22 mm), and shipping weight is 45 lbs (20.41 kg). The assembly supplied under RCKSD42UBK1 consists of the RCK solid door, a swing handle key lock (FH333), two surface door hinges (LH) and two hinge cover plates; the drawing notes that hinge components hardware is shipped loose.

Screw-on hinges let the door be mounted without needing access to the inside of the cabinet, and the door can be hung on the left or right to suit the room layout and service access. Door mounting hardware is included, and the handle cutout is compatible with electronic locks if keyed access is later replaced with credential-based entry.
