The RCKSD20UBK1 is a 20U solid locking door made exclusively for use with the Hammond RCK cabinet series. It is intended for IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM builders who need to close off a 20U wall-mount or floor cabinet to keep equipment secured and out of sight, without adding perforations or a viewing window.
The door is built from 16-gauge steel (mild steel) and finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 39.88 in x 23.6 in x 0.85 in (1,013 mm x 599 mm x 22 mm), and shipping weight is 28 lbs (12.70 kg).
Each RCKSD20UBK1 assembly includes the solid door panel, a swing handle key lock (FH333) with keys, two surface door hinges (LH) and two hinge cover plates. Door mounting hardware is included and the hinge components hardware ships loose. The screw-on hinges can be mounted without needing access to the inside of the cabinet, and the door can be hung on the left or the right to suit the room layout and door swing clearance.
The handle cutout is compatible with electronic locks if you later move to credentialed or audited access. Within the RCKD series, solid, acrylic window with venting, and high airflow vented mesh door styles are offered; for 20U cabinets the alternatives are RCKVD20UBK1 (vented) and RCKWD20UBK1 (window).
