Hammond RCHV1901417BK1 8U Vented Rack Cabinet, 17.5" Deep, 800 lb

RCHV1901417BK1 is an 8U vented-side rack cabinet from the RCH Series, a general-purpose knock-down rack cabinet intended for AV, test equipment, industrial control and light IT installations that need ventilation and a flexible, easy-to-configure structure. The vented sides support passive cooling, while the open cabinet frame accepts optional panels and doors so the configuration can be matched to the access and airflow the installation requires.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The cabinet carries an 800 lb load rating and ships knocked down for easier handling, transport and protection; a self-squaring design allows assembly with minimal hardware. PVC non-marking feet protect finished surfaces and two black plastic lifting handles assist with placement. Note that this product is not designed or intended to be wall mounted.

Overall dimensions are 16.00 in high x 21.00 in wide x 17.50 in deep (406 x 533 x 445 mm), providing 8U of usable mounting height (14.00 in / 356 mm), 19.00 in (483 mm) usable mounting width and 16.25 in (413 mm) usable mounting depth. The front opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) with a 19" mounting reference of 18.35 in (466 mm). Shipping weight is 42 lbs (19.05 kg).

Equipment mounts on two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant punched combination rails with round holes and 10-32 clip nuts; RCHV1901417BK1 includes a starter pack of 16 clip nuts and screws. Additional mounting rail pairs (RCHR1914), 8U doors (RCHD1914BK1 or RCHD1914LG1) and optional caster kits are available within the series. The cabinet is TAA compliant, USMCA compliant, REACH and RoHS compliant, and manufactured in Canada.
