Hammond RCHV1901417LG1 8U Vented Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, Light Gray

The RCHV1901417LG1 is an 8U rack cabinet with vented sides, built for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control systems, and small IT or lab equipment that needs airflow without forced cooling. It belongs to the RCH Series of general-purpose knock-down rack cabinets rated for an 800 lb load, and ships unassembled for easier handling through doorways, elevators and tight equipment rooms.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat, a finish the manufacturer lists as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The cabinet assembles from a top panel assembly, two knock-down side panels, a bottom panel assembly and four punched combo rails, using the supplied 1/4-20 hex slot bolts, 1/4-20 spring nuts and M6 screws. A self-squaring design keeps the frame true with minimal hardware, and two black plastic lifting handles plus PVC non-marking feet help with placement and floor protection.

Overall dimensions are 16.00 in (406 mm) high x 21.00 in (533 mm) wide x 17.50 in (445 mm) deep, with usable mounting space of 14.00 in (356 mm) high x 19.00 in (483 mm) wide x 16.25 in (413 mm) deep. Equipment mounts on two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole rails, and a starter pack of 16 clip nuts and 10-32 screws is included. Optional doors, panels, mounting rail pairs and caster kits are available within the series.
