Hammond RCHV1901031BK1 6U Vented Rack Cabinet, 31.5 in Deep

The RCHV1901031BK1 is a 6U rack cabinet with vented sides, built for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control systems and small IT or lab deployments where 19-inch equipment needs airflow and a simple, flexible mounting arrangement. It belongs to the RCH Series of general-purpose knock-down rack cabinets rated to 800 lb.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel finished in RAL9005 textured black powder coat, a finish the manufacturer lists as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The cabinet ships knocked down for easier handling and protection, and assembles with a self-squaring design using minimal hardware. Two black plastic lifting handles, PVC non-marking feet, a top panel assembly, a bottom panel assembly, two knock-down sides and four punched combo rails are part of the build, along with 1/4-20 bolts and spring nuts and M6 screws.

Overall dimensions are 12.50 in (318 mm) high, 21.00 in (533 mm) wide and 31.50 in (800 mm) deep. Usable mounting space is 10.50 in (267 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide with 30.25 in (768 mm) of usable depth, and the front opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) with 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting width. Shipping weight is 64 lbs (29.03 kg).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole rails are supplied, with a starter pack of 16 clip nuts and 10-32 screws. Optional doors, panels, additional rail pairs and caster kits are offered within the series for further configuration. RCHV1901031BK1 is manufactured in Canada, is TAA and USMCA compliant, and is also listed as REACH compliant. Note that this product is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted.
