Hammond RCHV1901017LG1 6U 17.5 in Deep Vented Rack Cabinet, 800 lb

The RCHV1901017LG1 is a 6U rack cabinet with vented sides from the RCH knock-down series, intended for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control and automation, lab work and small IT or network setups. It accepts standard 19-inch equipment and is finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, giving reliable support for AV, lab and light IT equipment. The cabinet ships knocked down for easier transport, handling and installation in constrained spaces, and uses a self-squaring design so assembly can be completed quickly with minimal hardware. Vented sides support passive cooling, and the open frame structure accepts optional panels and doors for flexible ventilation and access arrangements.

Overall dimensions are 12.5 in x 21 in x 17.5 in (318 mm x 533 mm x 445 mm), with usable mounting dimensions of 10.50 in (267 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 16.25 in (413 mm) deep. The front 19-inch mounting opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) wide, and the 6U mounting height measures 10.56 in (268 mm). Shipping weight is 40 lbs (18.14 kg).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails are supplied (four punched combo rails), along with 16 clip nuts and screws as a starter pack, two black plastic lifting handles and PVC non-marking feet. Assembly hardware in the kit includes 1/4-20 hex slot bolts, 1/4-20 spring nuts and M6 x 1.0 x 12 mm screws.
