Hammond RCHV1900817BK1 5U Vented Rack Cabinet, 17.5" Deep Knock-Down

The RCHV1900817BK1 is a 5U rack cabinet with vented side panels, built for mounting standard 19-inch equipment in AV, test and measurement, lab and light IT installations. It measures 10.75 in x 21 in x 17.5 in (273 mm x 533 mm x 445 mm) overall and ships knocked down for easier handling and protection during transport.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The vented sides support passive cooling, while the open cabinet structure accepts optional panels and doors so the enclosure can be configured for the level of access and airflow a given installation needs. Two black plastic lifting handles and PVC non-marking feet are part of the design for mobility and surface protection.

Equipment mounts on two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant punched combo rails providing 8.75 in (222 mm) of usable mounting height (5U), 19.00 in (483 mm) usable width and 16.25 in (413 mm) usable depth. A starter pack of eight 10-32 screws and clip nuts is included, and additional mounting rail pairs and matching doors are offered as series accessories. Assembly is self-squaring and uses minimal hardware; the shipment includes 1/4-20 bolts, 1/4-20 spring nuts and M6 screws.
