Hammond RCHS1902824LG1 16U Solid-Side Rack Cabinet, 24.5 in Deep

RCHS1902824LG1 is a 16U rack cabinet with solid sides from the RCH knock-down series, intended for AV, test equipment, lab and light IT installations that need 19-inch equipment mounting with flexible configuration. It ships unassembled (knockdown) for easier handling and protection, and assembles with a self-squaring design using minimal hardware.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental requirements. The cabinet is built from a top panel assembly, two knock-down sides, a bottom panel assembly and four punched combo rails, and includes two black plastic lifting handles plus PVC non-marking feet.

Overall dimensions are 30.00 in x 21.00 in x 24.50 in (762 mm x 533 mm x 622 mm), providing 16U of rack space. Usable mounting dimensions are 28.00 in (711 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 23.25 in (591 mm) deep, with a 19-inch mounting width of 18.35 in (466 mm) and a 17.81 in (452 mm) front opening. Shipping weight is 70 lbs (31.75 kg).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails accept standard rack equipment, and a starter pack of 16 clip nuts and 10-32 screws is included. The open frame cabinet structure accepts optional panels and doors for ventilation and access; matching 16U door options and additional mounting rail pairs are offered in the series, along with optional caster kits. RCHS1902824LG1 is manufactured in Canada, is TAA- and USMCA-compliant, and is not designed or intended to be wall mounted.
