Hammond RCHS1902817BK1 16U Solid-Side Rack Cabinet, 17.5" Deep

The RCHS1902817BK1 is a 16U knock-down rack cabinet with solid sides, built for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control systems, and small IT or lab equipment racks. It mounts standard 19-inch rack equipment and ships unassembled for easier transport, handling, and installation in constrained spaces.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA, and RoHS compliant. The knock-down assembly is self-squaring, so the cabinet goes together quickly with minimal hardware: the kit comprises a top panel assembly, bottom panel assembly, two solid side panels, four punched combo rails, two black plastic handles, and the associated 1/4-20 and M6 fasteners. PVC non-marking feet and the lifting handles support mobility and protect finished floors.

Overall dimensions are 30.00 in x 21.00 in x 17.50 in (762 mm x 533 mm x 445 mm), with 28.00 in (711 mm) of usable mounting height, 19.00 in (483 mm) usable width, and 16.25 in (413 mm) usable mounting depth. Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole rails are included, along with a starter pack of 16 clip nuts and 10-32 screws.

The open cabinet structure accepts optional panels and doors for flexible ventilation and access configurations. For this 16U height, the matching door is RCHD1928BK1 (black) or RCHD1928LG1 (light gray), with RCHR1928 available as an additional pair of mounting rails; optional caster kits 1425BLSOFT, 1425BM, 1425BH, and 1425BHLOCK are also offered. RCHS1902817BK1 is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America. Note that this product is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted.
