Hammond RCHV1900817LG1 5U Vented Side Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, Gray

The RCHV1900817LG1 is a 5U rack cabinet with vented sides, finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat. It is part of the RCH Series of general-purpose knock-down rack cabinets intended for AV, test equipment, lab and light IT applications that need ventilation and a flexible, easy-to-configure structure. The cabinet ships unassembled (knockdown) for easier handling, transport and protection, and uses a self-squaring design that goes together with minimal hardware.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, giving reliable support for AV, lab and light IT equipment. Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails are supplied (four punched combo rails), along with a starter pack of 10-32 screws and clip nuts — 8 sets are included with this 5U size. Non-marking PVC feet and two plastic lifting handles are part of the design for mobility and surface protection.

Overall dimensions are 10.75 in (273 mm) high x 21.00 in (533 mm) wide x 17.50 in (445 mm) deep, with usable mounting space of 8.75 in (222 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 16.25 in (413 mm) deep. The front 19-inch mounting area measures 18.35 in (466 mm) with a 17.81 in (452 mm) opening, and the 5U panel height is 8.81 in (224 mm).

The open cabinet structure accepts optional panels and doors (RCHD1908LG1 light gray or RCHD1908BK1 black for 5U), additional mounting rail pairs (RCHR1908) and optional caster kits. RCHV1900817LG1 is manufactured in Canada, is TAA- and USMCA-compliant, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. This product is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted.
