Hammond RCHS1902817LG1 16U Solid-Side Knock-Down Rack Cabinet, 17.5 in Deep

RCHS1902817LG1 is a 16U rack cabinet with solid sides from the RCH knock-down series, built for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control systems, labs and small IT or network setups. It accepts standard 19-inch equipment and ships unassembled for easier transport and handling into constrained spaces.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with a textured RAL7035 light gray powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The series is rated for an 800 lb load. Two black plastic lifting handles are fitted to the sides, and the cabinet includes PVC non-marking feet. Assembly is self-squaring and uses minimal hardware, with 1/4-20 hex slot bolts, 1/4-20 spring nuts and M6 screws supplied for the top, bottom, side and rail components.

Overall dimensions are 30.00 in (762 mm) high x 21.00 in (533 mm) wide x 17.50 in (445 mm) deep, with a usable mounting area of 28.00 in (711 mm) high x 19.00 in (483 mm) wide x 16.25 in (413 mm) deep — 16 rack units. The front opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) with a 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting reference. Shipping weight is 60 lbs (27.22 kg).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails are supplied, along with a starter pack of 16 10-32 screws and clip nuts. Optional doors and additional rail pairs are offered for the 16U height, and an optional caster kit is available within the series. RCHS1902817LG1 is TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, REACH and RoHS compliant, and made in Canada. This product is not designed nor intended to be wall mounted.
