Hammond RCHS1901731BK1 10U Solid-Side Rack Cabinet, 31.5 in Deep

The RCHS1901731BK1 is a 10U, 19-inch rack cabinet with solid side panels, built for AV and media installations, test and measurement benches, industrial control systems, and small IT or lab equipment stacks. It belongs to Hammond's RCH Series of general-purpose knock-down rack cabinets and ships unassembled for easier transport, handling, and installation in constrained spaces.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load capacity and a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA, and RoHS compliant. Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails are supplied, along with a starter pack of 10-32 screws and 16 clip nuts. PVC non-marking feet and two black plastic lifting handles are part of the assembly.

Overall dimensions are 19.50 in x 21.00 in x 31.50 in (495 mm x 533 mm x 800 mm), with usable mounting space of 17.50 in high x 19.00 in wide x 30.25 in deep (445 x 483 x 768 mm). The drawing shows a 19-inch mounting width of 18.35 in (466 mm) and a 17.81 in (452 mm) panel opening, with 17.56 in (446 mm) of 10U rack height. Shipping weight is 74.01 lbs (33.57 kg).

Assembly is self-squaring and uses minimal hardware, with the kit including 1/4-20 hex slot bolts, spring nuts, and M6 screws. Optional doors, panels, additional rail pairs, and caster kits are offered within the RCH Series for flexible configuration and airflow.
