Hammond RCHS1901431BK1 8U Solid-Side Rack Cabinet, 31.5 in Deep

The RCHS1901431BK1 is an 8U solid-side rack cabinet from the RCH knock-down series, built for mounting 19-inch equipment in AV, test and measurement, industrial control and light IT installations. It ships unassembled for easier transport and handling, then goes together with a self-squaring design using minimal hardware.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with an 800 lb load rating, finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The cabinet assembly comprises a top panel assembly, bottom panel assembly, two knock-down solid sides, four punched combo rails and two black plastic handles, with 1/4-20 hex slot bolts, 1/4-20 spring nuts and M6 screws supplied. PVC non-marking feet and lifting handles support mobility and surface protection.

Overall dimensions are 16 in x 21 in x 31.5 in (406 mm x 533 mm x 800 mm), giving 8U of usable mounting height (14.00 in / 356 mm), 19.00 in (483 mm) usable mounting width and 30.25 in (768 mm) usable depth. The front opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) wide with 18.35 in (466 mm) across the 19-inch mounting flanges. Shipping weight is 67.99 lbs (30.84 kg).

Two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant round-hole mounting rails are included along with a starter pack of 16 clip nuts and 10-32 screws. The open frame cabinet structure accepts optional panels and doors, so RCHS1901431BK1 can be configured for ventilation or closed access as the application requires. Additional mounting rail pairs (RCHR1914), 8U doors (RCHD1914BK1 or RCHD1914LG1) and caster kits are available in the series.
