Hammond RCBS1901224BK1 7U 24.5" Deep Desktop Rack Cabinet, 600 lb

The RCBS1901224BK1 is a 7U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting standard 19-inch equipment on a bench, desk or console. It suits AV and media installations, studio and control room builds, test and measurement setups, and lab or development environments where equipment needs protection in a compact footprint.

Construction is 16-gauge welded steel rated for a 600 lb load, finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The cabinet is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels, and the assembly includes two black plastic handles for carrying between workstations plus four non-marking plug bumper feet for stable desktop placement.

Overall size is 14.25 in x 21 in x 24.5 in (362 mm x 533 mm x 622 mm) with a shipping weight of 39 lbs (17.69 kg). The cabinet provides 7U (12.25 in / 311 mm) of usable mounting height and 23.88 in (607 mm) of usable mounting depth, with the drawing showing 23.76 in (604 mm) usable depth and a 17.81 in (452 mm) front opening across a 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting width.

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with 0.28 in (7 mm) round holes for 10-32 clip nuts, and the rails are recessed at the front and rear to improve equipment clearance. RCBS1901224BK1 ships with a starter pack (CLPKIT1032-10) of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws.

Manufactured in Canada, the cabinet is TAA compliant and USMCA compliant, supporting government and public-sector procurement. RoHS and REACH compliant, ECCN EAR99. The same size is offered in RAL 7035 light gray as RCBS1901224LG1.
