Hammond RCBS1901213LG1 7U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 13 in Deep, Light Gray

The RCBS1901213LG1 is a 7U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, desk or console. Finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat, it suits AV and media installations, studio and control room work, test and measurement benches, and lab or development environments where equipment needs to be protected but still portable.

Construction is 16-gauge welded steel (mild steel) rated for a 600 lb load. The cabinet is fully enclosed with a bottom panel plus a combined top and sides assembly, so installed gear is shielded on all sides. Two black plastic handles are integrated for carrying between workstations, and four plug bumpers act as non-marking feet for stable desktop placement.

Overall dimensions are 14.25 in x 21 in x 13 in (362 mm x 533 mm x 330 mm), with a 19-inch mounting width of 18.35 in (466 mm) and a front opening of 17.81 in (452 mm). Usable mounting height is 12.25 in (311 mm) for 7 rack units, and usable mounting depth is 12.38 in (314 mm). Shipping weight is 22.93 lbs (10.40 kg).

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes for 10-32 clip nuts, and RCBS1901213LG1 ships with a starter pack of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws. Rails are recessed at the front and rear to improve equipment clearance. The cabinet is made in Canada, TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, and RoHS and REACH compliant, with ECCN EAR99.
