Hammond RCBS1901217LG1 7U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 17.5" Deep, Light Gray

The RCBS1901217LG1 is a 7U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, console or work surface. It suits AV and media integrators, studio and control room builds, test and measurement benches, and lab or development environments where equipment needs to be protected in a compact, movable housing rather than a floor-standing cabinet.

Construction is 16-gauge welded mild steel with a 600 lb load rating, finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat. The cabinet is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels, and is built from a one-piece bottom plus a combined top-and-sides shell. Two black plastic handles are fitted for lifting between workstations, and four plug bumpers act as non-marking feet for stable desktop placement. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

Overall size is 14.25 in x 21 in x 17.5 in (362 mm x 533 mm x 445 mm), with 7U of usable mounting height at 12.25 in (311 mm) and usable mounting depth of 16.88 in (429 mm); the drawing lists 16.76 in (426 mm) usable depth and a front opening of 17.81 in (452 mm) with 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting width. Shipping weight is 28 lbs (12.70 kg).

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes for 10-32 clip nuts, and they are recessed at the front and rear to improve equipment clearance. RCBS1901217LG1 ships with a starter pack (CLPKIT1032-10) of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws. The cabinet is TAA compliant and made in Canada, with USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliance declared and ECCN EAR99 for procurement documentation.
