Hammond RCBS1901224LG1 7U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 24.5" Deep Light Gray

The RCBS1901224LG1 is a 7U enclosed desktop rack cabinet built for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, desk or console. Finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat, it suits AV and media installations, studio and control room racks, test and measurement benches, and lab or development setups where equipment needs protection in a small footprint.

Construction is 16-gauge welded steel (mild steel) with a 600 lb load rating, and the design is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels. The drawing shows the cabinet as two main weldments (RCBS bottom, RCBS top and sides) plus two black plastic handles for portability between workstations and four plug bumper feet for stable, non-marking desktop placement.

Overall dimensions are 14.25 in x 21.00 in x 24.50 in (362 mm x 533 mm x 622 mm), with 7U of usable mounting height (12.25 in / 311 mm) and 23.88 in (607 mm) usable mounting depth; the drawing also notes 23.76 in (604 mm) usable depth, a 17.81 in (452 mm) front opening and 18.35 in (466 mm) 19-inch mounting width. Shipping weight is 39 lbs (17.69 kg).

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes for 10-32 clip nuts, and the rails are recessed at front and rear to improve equipment clearance. RCBS1901224LG1 ships with a starter pack (CLPKIT1032-10) of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws. The cabinet is made in Canada, TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, and RoHS and REACH compliant.
