Hammond RB-AV27 27U Glass Door AV Cabinet, 950 lb Capacity

The RB-AV27 is a fully assembled 27U audio-visual rack cabinet built for residential AV, security and surveillance, and small commercial installations. It ships complete with pre-installed shelves, panels and mounting rails, so integrators and installers can rack equipment immediately instead of building and configuring a cabinet on site.

Construction is 16-gauge welded mild steel with a 950 lb load capacity, finished in RAL9005 black powder coat that is RoHS and REACH compliant. A lightly smoked tempered glass removable front door keeps equipment visible, while a solid removable steel rear door and two solid removable side panels all use quarter-turn locks for security and quick access during service. Passive ventilation on the top, bottom and sides handles heat from AV and network gear, with optional fan support available, and removable cable access panels on the top and bottom route wiring where needed.

Overall dimensions are 54.65 in x 23.63 in x 23.63 in (1,388 mm x 600 mm x 600 mm), giving a compact 23.62 in square footprint. Inside, two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant 10-32 tapped mounting rails in 13-gauge steel provide 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width, 47.25 in (1,200 mm) of mounting height and 21.00 in (533 mm) of usable depth. Two 2U vented rack shelves are factory installed, and a starter pack of fifty 10-32 screws is included.

The steel frame arrives with factory-installed leveling feet, recessed casters and grounding studs; casters and leveling feet are removable, so the RB-AV27 works as either a rolling or a fixed installation.
