Hammond RASV190312BK1 2U 12in Deep Vented Rack Shelf, 100 lb Rated

The RASV190312BK1 is a 2U fixed, vented rack shelf built to support non-rackmount equipment inside standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. It is a practical choice for IT, AV and industrial installations where amplifiers, media devices, small servers, UPS units, peripherals or test gear need a solid surface rather than direct rack-ear mounting.

The shelf is formed from 14-gauge mild steel with a painted textured black powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental compliance goals. Venting slots (0.24 x 1.50 in) across the shelf surface promote airflow around heat-producing equipment, and the stiffener lip is folded up at the back only, leaving the front edge clear.

Nominal size is 3.5 in x 19 in x 12 in (89 mm x 483 mm x 305 mm), with a 2U mounting height of 3.50 in (89 mm), a mounting width of 19.30 in (490 mm) and a usable depth of 12.00 in (305 mm). Drawing dimensions include a 19.01 in (483 mm) front panel width, 18.32 in (465 mm) between the 8X 0.25 x 0.38 in mounting slots, and a 17.50 in (444 mm) overall shelf width with a 17.36 in (441 mm) inside width. Suggested load capacity is 100 lbs (45 kg), and the series is tested to double the suggested load rating. Shipping weight is 10 lbs (4.54 kg).

The universal design mounts to any standard EIA-compliant rack or cabinet and can be installed internally as a shelf or externally as a work surface. Mounting hardware is not supplied with the shelf. The optional RASCLAMP clamping arm accessory adds secure equipment retention for 2U and 3U sizes, replacing the legacy RACS Series. RASV190312BK1 is made in Canada, USMCA compliant and TAA compliant.
