Hammond RASV190115BK1 1U Vented Rack Shelf, 15 in Deep, 42 lb Load

The RASV190115BK1 is a 1U vented fixed rack shelf for standard 19-inch racks and cabinets, sized 15.00 in (381 mm) deep. It is intended for IT, AV and industrial users who need a dependable surface for equipment that cannot be directly rack-mounted: network appliances, amplifiers and media devices, small servers, UPS units, peripherals and lab or test gear.

The shelf is formed from mild steel in 16-gauge for this 1U size and finished in a black textured powder coat. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental compliance requirements. The vented shelf pan uses 0.24 x 1.50 slots to promote airflow around equipment, and a stiffener lip is folded up at the back only for added rigidity.

Mounting dimensions are 1.75 in (44 mm) high by 19.30 in (490 mm) wide by 15.00 in (381 mm) deep, occupying 1U of rack space. The drawing shows an overall front panel width of 19.01 in (483 mm) with four 0.25 x 0.38 mounting slots on 18.32 in (465 mm) centers, and a shelf panel width of 17.50 in (444 mm). Suggested load capacity is 42 lbs (19 kg); the series states this product was tested to double the suggested load rating.
