Hammond PMB5057KIT3 7 in Pole Mount Kit for 1556D and 1557D

The PMB5057KIT3 is a 7" pole mount kit for 1556 and 1557 enclosures, in the 50-57mm size with small clamps. It gives installers a stainless steel bracket-and-strap solution for mounting a 1557D, 1557DA, 1556D or 1556DA enclosure to a pole from 1.5in to 7in (3.8cm to 17.8cm) in diameter, and it can also be mounted to square or rectangular shapes.

These enclosures use #8 x 3/8" screws; the kit's hardware is #8 self tapping screws and washers, installed with a #2 Phillips head into the outer wall mount holes. The series notes that the 1556 series is not designed for outdoor use.

The purchased kit includes 2 brackets, 2 clamps and hardware, all stainless steel. The bracket drawing shows 88.00 mm [3.46 in] length, 46.99 mm [1.85 in] width and 43.38 mm [1.71 in] height with 5.00 mm [.20 in] holes, and the part page lists 11 in x 5.5 in x 1 in (279 mm x 140 mm x 25 mm). Torque the hardware to 11.5-13.5 lbf-in (130-150 cN-m).

Clamps wrap around the pole, thread back through the bracket and are tightened with a 5/16in (8mm) nut drive while you hold the enclosure in place. The kit ships in a bag at 0.67 lbs (0.30 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Replacement screws come as SCPMB5-20; the 15" version is PMB5057KIT4.
