The PMB110127KIT3 is a stainless steel pole mount kit for the larger 1556 and 1557 enclosure profiles. It uses the 110–127 mm brackets with the small clamp (HCLAMP1) to secure 1557H, 1557HA, 1557G, 1557GA, 1556H or 1556HA enclosures to poles 1.5 in to 7 in (3.8 cm to 17.8 cm) in diameter. The drawing notes it can also be mounted to square or rectangular shapes.
The purchased kit includes 2 brackets, 2 clamps and hardware, with every part made from stainless steel. Hardware for these enclosures is #8 self-tapping screws with washers: the screw type is #8 x 3/8", and SCPMB5-20 is the replacement pack (#8 x 3/8" SHCS and #10 flat washers, 20 of each).
Following the 1556/57 instructions, each bracket is attached with a washer and screw to the enclosure's outer wall mount holes using a #2 Phillips head, torqued to 150 cN.m (13.5 lbf.in). The clamps are threaded through the desired bracket slots, wrapped around the pole and threaded back through the bracket, then tightened with a 5/16 in (8 mm) nut drive while the enclosure is held against the pole. The drawing gives a recommended hardware torque of 11.5–13.5 lbf-in (130–150 cN-m).
The bracket is 157.00 mm [6.18 in] overall on the drawing. PMB110127KIT3 ships in a bag at 0.97 lbs (0.44 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Note that the manufacturer states the 1556 series is not designed for outdoor use. For poles up to 15 in, choose PMB110127KIT4.
