Hammond PMB5057WKIT1 Single-Bracket 7 in Pole Mount Kit for 1556B/1557B

The PMB5057WKIT1 is a 7" pole mount kit for the 1556B, 1556BA, 1557B and 1557BA enclosures. Unlike the two-bracket kits in the series, this kit includes 1 bracket, 1 clamp and hardware, because the 1556B/BA and 1557B/BA use one bracket. It is designed for installers mounting these compact enclosures to a pole of 1.5in to 7in (3.8cm to 17.8cm) diameter with the small clamp.

All parts are made from stainless steel. For the 1556B/BA and 1557B/BA, the bracket fixes to the internal flush mount holes using #8 x 1/2" screws with washers, installed with a #2 Phillips head. The series notes that the 1556 series is not designed for outdoor use.

The bracket drawing shows 78.00 mm [3.07 in] length, 65.02 mm [2.56 in] width and 61.42 mm [2.42 in] height, with 5.00 mm [.20 in] holes. The part page lists a size of 11 in x 5.5 in x 1 in (279 mm x 140 mm x 25 mm) and a shipping weight of 0.36 lbs (0.16 kg). Recommended hardware torque is 11.5-13.5 lbf-in (130-150 cN-m).

Wrap the clamp around the pole, thread it back through the bracket and tighten with a 5/16in (8mm) nut drive. The bracket can also be mounted to square or rectangular shapes. The kit is bagged and RoHS and REACH compliant; replacement screws are SCPMB4-20.
