The PMB5057WKIT2 is a stainless steel pole mount kit that lets a Hammond 1556B, 1556BA, 1557B or 1557BA enclosure be fastened securely to a pole. It is the large-clamp version of the 50–57 mm kit for these enclosure profiles, rated for poles from a minimum of 1.5 in (38 mm) up to 15 in (381 mm) in diameter, and the drawing notes it can also be mounted to square or rectangular shapes.
Per the part drawing, this purchased kit includes 1 bracket, 1 clamp and hardware, and all parts are made from stainless steel. The installation instructions confirm that the 1556B/BA and 1557B/BA profiles use one bracket, fixed through the enclosure's internal flush mount holes. The matching hardware is #8 x 1/2" screws, with SCPMB4-20 listed as the replacement pack (#8 x 1/2" SHCS and #10 flat washers, 20 of each).

Installation uses a #2 Phillips head for the #8 hardware, torqued to 150 cN.m (13.5 lbf.in); the drawing gives a recommended hardware torque of 11.5–13.5 lbf-in (130–150 cN-m). Thread the clamp through the bracket slot, wrap it around the pole, and while holding the enclosure against the pole tighten the clamp with a 5/16 in (8 mm) nut drive. Note that the manufacturer states the 1556 series is not designed for outdoor use.
The PMB5057WKIT2 is RoHS and REACH compliant. For poles up to 7 in, the small-clamp equivalent is PMB5057WKIT1.
