Hammond PJU864CCLF 8x6x4 Clear Cover Type 4X Box, Flange Mount

The PJU864CCLF is a flange-mounted 8.05 x 6.27 x 4.13 in (204 x 159 x 105 mm) Type 4X junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover. Two polycarbonate flanges glued to the fiberglass polyester body carry (8) R0.155 in (R3.94 mm) slots, spaced 8.75 to 8.88 in per the drawing, for flexible fastening to a wall, panel or frame.

Applications listed for the PJU Series include instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, hot or exposed to corrosive agents. The enclosure is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66.

Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R0705 inner panel, 6.75 x 4.88 in (171 x 124 mm), with back panels drawn in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The body is easily punched, cut or drilled. It operates between 130°C and -40°C, has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), is listed at a 3 lbs (1.36 kg) shipping weight, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
