Hammond PJU864CCL 8x6x4 Clear Cover Type 4X Box with Mounting Feet

The PJU864CCL is an 8.05 x 6.27 x 4.13 in (204 x 159 x 105 mm) fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. Its taller-than-wide format suits terminal wiring, a small instrument or indicator devices that need to stay visible behind a sealed door.

The PJU Series is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and is intended for hose-down, very wet, high-temperature or highly corrosive locations. Ratings are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66.

The gray body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with enhanced UV inhibitors and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall; it is easily punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover hangs on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and fastens with one lockable stainless steel snap latch on center that includes a padlocking provision. A closed cell neoprene gasket seals the opening.

Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R0705 inner panel, 6.75 x 4.88 in (171 x 124 mm), with back panel thicknesses of 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The feet attach with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws, have 0.31 in (7.95 mm) holes, and bring overall height to 9.47 in (240.48 mm). Rated 130°C to -40°C, 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, 6 lbs (2.72 kg) shipping weight, RoHS and REACH compliant.
