Hammond PJU664L 6x6x4 Solid Cover Type 4X Box with Mounting Feet

The PJU664L is the solid-cover, foot-mounted version of the smallest size in the PJU Series: a 6.05 x 6.27 x 4.13 in (154 x 159 x 105 mm) fiberglass polyester junction box. It suits small terminal connections, instrument housings and control components that must be protected from water, heat and corrosion.

Listed standards are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. Both the box and the matching solid cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering. The wall is 0.13 in (3.30 mm) thick and the material is easily punched, cut or drilled for cable entries.

The cover is carried on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and closes with one lockable stainless steel snap latch located on center; the fasteners include a padlocking provision. A closed cell neoprene gasket seals the opening. Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws support the optional 14R0505 inner panel, 4.88 x 4.88 in (124 x 124 mm), available per the drawing as 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass.

Four polycarbonate feet attach with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws, with 0.31 in (7.95 mm) holes and 7.47 in (189.68 mm) overall height including feet. The enclosure is rated for 130°C to -40°C, has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), ships at 3 lbs (1.36 kg), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
