Hammond PJU664LF 6x6x4 Solid Cover Type 4X Box, Flange Mount

The PJU664LF is a small flange-mounted, solid-cover junction box measuring 6.05 x 6.27 x 4.13 in (154 x 159 x 105 mm). Two polycarbonate flanges glued to the fiberglass body give slotted mounting points, which the drawing shows as (8) R0.162 in (4.10 mm) slots at 6.75 to 6.88 in spacing, with 7.63 in (193.79 mm) overall height including flanges.

Typical duties for the PJU Series are instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures in wet, hosed-down, hot or corrosive surroundings. It is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66.

Construction is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester for both box and cover, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall that is easily punched, cut or drilled. The solid cover hinges on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin, locks with one stainless steel snap latch on center that includes a padlocking provision, and seals on a closed cell neoprene gasket.

Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws hold the optional 14R0505 inner panel, 4.88 x 4.88 in (124 x 124 mm), offered in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The flanges attach with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws. Operating range is 130°C to -40°C, impact index 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), shipping weight 3 lbs (1.36 kg); RoHS and REACH compliant.
