Hammond PJU664H 6x6x4 Hinged Solid Cover Fiberglass Box with Feet

The PJU664H is a small 6 x 6 x 4 in Type 4X polyester junction box with a solid cover on a continuous hinge, fastened with screws, and four polycarbonate feet. Because the cover stays attached on its hinge, it will not be misplaced during wiring or maintenance. It is designed for use as an instrument enclosure, an electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing, an electrical junction box or a terminal wiring enclosure where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, hot or exposed to highly corrosive conditions.

Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering. The material is easily punched, cut or drilled. The cover pivots on a molded hinge with a stainless steel hinge pin and is secured by two stainless steel captive cover screws in #10-32 brass inserts, sealing against a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.

The box measures 6.05 in H x 6.27 in W x 4.13 in D (154 x 159 x 105 mm) and ships at 3 lbs (1.36 kg). Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R0505 inner panel, 4.88 x 4.88 in (124 x 124 mm).

The feet attach with stainless steel screws in brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included. The PJU664H is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and is rated IEC 60529 IP66. It is rated for -40°C to 130°C (-40°F to 266°F), has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
