PJU664CCHF is a 6 x 6 x 4 in Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover on a continuous hinge and two glued polycarbonate flanges for surface mounting. The transparent, hinged cover keeps small instruments and terminals in sight and makes service access easy, and the box is intended for instrument enclosures, control housings for electric, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures in wet, hose-down, hot or corrosive settings.
The body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors, and it can be easily punched, cut or drilled. The cover pivots on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and is closed by two stainless steel captive cover screws in #10-32 brass inserts, sealing on a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.
External dimensions are 6.05 in H x 6.27 in W x 4.13 in D (154 x 159 x 105 mm), with a listed shipping weight of 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The optional 14R0505 inner panel (4.88 x 4.88 in, 124 x 124 mm) mounts on four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws; panels come in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass.
The flanges fasten with stainless steel screws in brass inserts and the mounting hardware is included. Ratings are UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 compliance, and IEC 60529 IP66. The PJU664CCHF operates from -40°C to 130°C (-40°F to 266°F), has a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
