Hammond PJU664CCL 6x6x4 Clear Cover Type 4X Box with Mounting Feet

The PJU664CCL is a compact 6.05 x 6.27 x 4.13 in (154 x 159 x 105 mm) fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. The see-through door makes it a practical housing for small instruments, indicators or terminal connections that need a quick visual check without opening the box.

The PJU Series is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and for places where equipment is hosed down, very wet, hot or corrosive. It holds UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings and IEC 60529 IP66.

The body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall; it can be punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover swings on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and closes with a single stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center, which includes a padlocking provision. A closed cell neoprene gasket seals the door.

Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R0505 inner panel, 4.88 x 4.88 in (124 x 124 mm); back panels are drawn at 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The polycarbonate feet fasten to #10-32 brass inserts with stainless steel screws and have 0.31 in (7.95 mm) mounting holes. Rated 130°C to -40°C with a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, it ships at 6 lbs (2.72 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
