Hammond PJU201610HF 20x16x10 Solid Cover Type 4X Fiberglass Box, Flange

The PJU201610HF is a flange-mount Type 4X junction box with a solid fiberglass polyester cover, the 20 x 16 x 10 size in the PJU Series with continuous hinge and screw cover. Two glued polycarbonate flanges let it mount directly to walls or structures, and it is designed for instrument enclosures, control housings and terminal wiring in wet, hosed-down, hot or corrosive locations.

Compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester forms both box and cover, finished in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors. It is easily punched, cut or drilled. The cover rides on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin, compresses a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket, and is fastened with captive stainless steel screws in #10-32 brass inserts that are retained by O-rings.

Enclosure dimensions are 20.5 in x 16.27 in x 10.13 in (521 x 413 x 257 mm), and the shipping weight is 18 lbs (8.16 kg). Flange screws are stainless steel into #10-32 brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included. The optional P2068 inner panel is 18.44 in x 14.44 in (468 x 367 mm), mounted on brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws.

PJU201610HF belongs to a series that is UL 508A and cUL listed Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with IEC 60529 IP66. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 130°C and the part is REACH and RoHS compliant.
