The PJU181610W is an 18 x 16 x 10 in Type 4X polyester junction box with a fully removable screw cover that includes a polycarbonate viewing window. With no hinge, the cover lifts completely clear, which is useful when wiring terminal blocks or building instrument and control housings where full front access matters.
Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a light gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. Four stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings thread into #10-32 brass inserts, pressing the cover onto a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket. The enclosure can be punched, cut or drilled as needed.
It measures 18.30 in H x 16.52 in W x 10.13 in D (465 x 420 x 257 mm) and ships at 16 lbs (7.26 kg). Inside, four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws hold the optional P1868 inner panel (16.88 x 14.88 in), offered in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass.
Four polycarbonate feet mount to the rear using stainless steel screws; the drawing shows 20.12 in overall height, 19.16 in vertical hole spacing and 0.31 in holes. The PJU181610W carries UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings and IEC 60529 IP66, and operates between -40°C and 130°C.
