The PJU201610HW is the tallest size in the PJU window line, a 20 x 16 x 10 in Type 4X polyester enclosure with a hinged screw cover and polycarbonate viewing window. It gives control builders and plant electricians room for larger instrument, terminal or control assemblies, while the hinged door stays attached during service.
The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in light gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering. The door swings on a continuous stainless steel hinge pin and is secured by two stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings in #10-32 brass inserts, sealing against a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.
Actual dimensions are 20.50 in H x 16.27 in W x 10.13 in D (521 x 413 x 257 mm), with a shipping weight of 18 lbs (8.16 kg). The optional P2068 inner panel measures 18.44 x 14.44 in and mounts on four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws.
Four polycarbonate feet attach to rear brass inserts with stainless steel screws; the drawing gives 21.50 in overall height and 20.53 in vertical hole spacing with 0.31 in holes. The PJU201610HW is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, with an operating range of -40°C to 130°C.
