Hammond PJU181610LWF 18x16x10 Snap Latch Window Type 4X Box, Flanges

PJU181610LWF is the flange-mount, snap latch member of the 18 x 16 x 10 in PJU window family. A hinged cover with a polycarbonate window closes on two stainless steel lockable snap latches, giving quick, tool-free access to instruments, terminal strips or electric, hydraulic and pneumatic controls while keeping them visible from outside.

The body and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, light gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering. A continuous stainless steel hinge pin carries the door, and a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket seals the opening. Holes for conduit or devices can be punched, cut or drilled.

The enclosure measures 18.30 in H x 16.52 in W x 10.13 in D (465 x 420 x 257 mm). Two polycarbonate flanges, glued in place and fastened with stainless steel screws into #10-32 brass inserts, handle wall mounting. The drawing shows 19.63 in overall height with flanges and slot distances of 18.76 in to 18.88 in.

The optional P1868 inner panel (16.88 x 14.88 in) mounts on four brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws. Ratings: UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66, REACH and RoHS compliant, with operation from -40°C to 130°C and an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb).
