Hammond PJU14126F 14x12x6 Solid Cover Fiberglass Box, Flange Mount

The PJU14126F is a flange-mounted Type 4X polyester junction box in the nominal 14 x 12 x 6 in size, with a solid lift-off cover fastened by screws. It is built for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring, particularly where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet, and in hot or highly corrosive environments.

The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors to resist outdoor weathering. The material is easily punched, cut or drilled on site. Four stainless steel captive cover screws seat in #10-32 brass inserts with retaining O-rings, compressing a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.

Overall dimensions are 14.05 in H x 12.27 in W x 6.13 in D (357 x 312 x 156 mm); shipping weight is 9 lbs (4.08 kg). Internal #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws take the optional 14R1311 inner panel, 12.75 x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm), offered in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass.

Two polycarbonate flanges are glued to the box and fixed with stainless steel screws in brass inserts; mounting hardware is included. As a solid-cover model up to and including 14 x 12, the PJU14126F is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 6P, 12 and 13 and rated IEC 60529 IP66 and IP68. It operates from -40°C to 130°C (-40°F to 266°F), has a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
