Hammond PJU14126CC 14x12x6 Clear Cover Fiberglass Box with Feet

The PJU14126CC pairs a 14 x 12 x 6 in fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear polycarbonate lift-off cover, so indicators, meters and terminals inside stay visible without removing the lid. It is mounted on four polycarbonate feet and is intended for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures in wet, hose-down, hot or highly corrosive locations.

The body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering, and it can be easily punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover is polycarbonate, fastened with four stainless steel captive cover screws in #10-32 brass inserts with retaining O-rings, and it seals against a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.

The enclosure measures 14.05 in H x 12.27 in W x 6.13 in D (357 x 312 x 156 mm) with a listed shipping weight of 6 lbs (2.72 kg). Inside, four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws are provided for the optional 14R1311 inner panel (12.75 x 10.88 in, 324 x 276 mm) or a terminal kit.

Mounting is by four polycarbonate feet secured with stainless steel screws in brass inserts, and the hardware is included. The PJU14126CC is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and is rated IEC 60529 IP66. Operating temperature is -40°C to 130°C (-40°F to 266°F), impact index is 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and it is REACH and RoHS compliant.
