Hammond PJU14126CCL 14x12x6 Clear Cover Type 4X Box with Mounting Feet

The PJU14126CCL is a 14.05 x 12.27 x 6.13 in (357 x 312 x 156 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. Its optional 12.75 x 10.88 in inner panel provides a generous mounting area for instruments, gauges or control devices that operators need to see without opening the enclosure.

The PJU Series is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and is intended for hose-down, very wet, high-temperature or highly corrosive locations. Ratings are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66.

The body is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall, easily punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover swings on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and closes with two lockable stainless steel snap latches that include a padlocking provision; a closed cell neoprene gasket seals it.

Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R1311 inner panel, 12.75 x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm), in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The feet attach with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws; the drawing shows 0.31 in (7.95 mm) holes on 14.70 in (373.44 mm) vertical centers and 15.42 in (391.67 mm) overall height with feet. Rated 130°C to -40°C, 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index, shipping weight 6 lbs (2.72 kg); RoHS and REACH compliant.
