Hammond PJU12106LF 12x10x6 Solid Cover Type 4X Box, Flange Mount

The PJU12106LF is the flange-mount, solid-cover version of the 12 x 10 x 6 PJU enclosure, measuring 12.05 x 10.27 x 6.13 in (306 x 261 x 156 mm). Two polycarbonate flanges are glued to the fiberglass polyester body; the drawing shows (4) 0.32 in (8.20 mm) holes on 12.75 in (323.85 mm) vertical centers and 13.50 in (342.90 mm) overall height with flanges.

PJU Series enclosures are designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, offering insulation and protection where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, hot or exposed to highly corrosive conditions. This part is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66.

Both box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, finished gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering. The 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall is easily punched, cut or drilled. Two lockable stainless steel snap latches with padlocking provision close the cover, which hinges on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and seals against a closed cell neoprene gasket. The flanges fasten with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws.

Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws are provided for the optional 14R1109 inner panel, 10.75 x 8.88 in (273 x 226 mm), listed in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The enclosure is rated for 130°C to -40°C, has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), ships at 7 lbs (3.18 kg), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
