Hammond PJU12106L 12x10x6 Solid Cover Type 4X Box with Mounting Feet

The PJU12106L is a 12.05 x 10.27 x 6.13 in (306 x 261 x 156 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a solid cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. It is a mid-size choice in the PJU Series for control components, terminal wiring and instrumentation that needs more panel area than the 10 x 8 sizes, with an optional 10.75 x 8.88 in inner panel.

The series is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and for places where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, hot or highly corrosive. This part is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66.

Box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall; the material is easily punched, cut or drilled. The door is carried on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and secured by two lockable stainless steel snap latches with a padlocking provision, sealing on a closed cell neoprene gasket.

Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R1109 inner panel, 10.75 x 8.88 in (273 x 226 mm), listed in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The feet fasten with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws; the drawing shows 0.31 in (7.95 mm) holes on 12.70 in (322.64 mm) vertical centers and 13.42 in (340.87 mm) overall height. Rated 130°C to -40°C with a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index; shipping weight 7 lbs (3.18 kg); RoHS and REACH compliant.
